Surface cleaning a driveway beside a brick home, steam and mist kicking up off the concrete

Driveways and concrete.

Driveways, sidewalks, patios and lots, run with a surface cleaner so the concrete comes back even instead of striped.

What is on the concrete.

A driveway does not turn dark on its own. The shaded runs grow the same algae and mold a roof does, and traffic works tire grime and oil down into the surface. When it rains, that film gets slick underfoot.

Blasting it with a wand takes the dirt off, but it leaves wand marks: bright stripes where the tip passed and dull lanes where it did not. Most people have seen a driveway striped like that. That is not how we leave one.

  • Driveways and parking pads
  • Sidewalks and walkways
  • Patios, porches and steps
  • Curbs, pavers and retaining walls
  • Parking lots and drive-thru lanes
The method

The surface cleaner is why it comes back even.

It is a spinning bar under a flat hood, held at the same height and the same pressure across every inch of the pass. Hot water softens the grime, the bar lifts it, and the lanes overlap so no stripe gets left behind.

Edges, steps and corners are finished by hand, then the whole slab is rinsed until the dirty water is off it, not just pushed around.

We bring our own water.

Customer review

The concrete rides along.

Lloyd hired us to wash his house. The driveway and the sidewalk went on the same visit, and this is what he posted after.

“They also did our driveway and side walk, me and my wife where happy, and His price was very good”

Lloyd E.

Questions we get asked.

Why does concrete come back striped when it is washed?

Because a wand cleans in stripes. We run a surface cleaner, which holds one even distance off the concrete across its whole width, so the finish comes back even instead of in bands.

Do you need a spigot at the property?

No. The rig carries 600 gallons of water, so the job never depends on what is at your place.

Can you do the sidewalks and the patio on the same visit?

Yes, and it prices better that way. One crew takes the whole property in one trip, so the driveway, the walks, the patio and the house get handled together instead of four times over.

How do I get a price on a driveway?

Text a photo of it to 276-235-1442. Get far enough back to show the whole run of concrete and you will hear back with a number.
