Steeples and heights.
Church steeples, towers, tall gables and anything above the ladder line, reached from a boom lift and planned before we ever set up.
Send a photo of the steeple or the tall side of the building and you will hear back with a number.
Steeples, towers, and heights are not a problem for us.
Most washing companies stop where the ladder stops. A church steeple going grey, a bell tower streaked with algae, a gable three stories off the lawn: that is work we plan for, not work we turn down.
The wash itself is the same one we put on any roof or siding, hot water at low pressure, so paint and flashing stay where they belong. The hard part is the reach, and reach is a planning problem. We are fully insured, and the plan is settled on the ground before anything goes up.
- Church steeples and bell towers
- Tall gables, dormers and upper story siding
- Barn and farm building roofs
- Metal roofs too steep or too high to walk
The lift does the reaching.
Where a ladder reaches, we use a ladder. Where it does not, an articulating boom lift puts the wand level with the work, over the ridge of a barn or beside a steeple, with nobody standing anywhere they should not be.
The school, the church, the barn.
When Grayson County High School in Independence needed bleaching, we got the call. Keith put the job up on the page afterward the same way he would tell you about it across a fence:
“WE DONE THE BLEACH FOR GRAYSON COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL INDEPENDENCE VA”
White church steeples get the gentle end of the same treatment, a hot soft wash from the ladder or the lift, so the paint stays and the algae goes. The barn roofs around here get their colour back the same way.
Questions we get asked.
How do you reach a steeple?
With a boom lift. The lift does the reaching, so the work happens from a basket set beside the surface rather than off a ladder leaned against it.
Is there a height you will not go to?
Steeples, towers, and heights are not a problem for us. If you can point at it, we can price it.
Have you done church and school buildings before?
Yes. The bleach work at Grayson County High School in Independence was ours, and so was the Hillsville Pentecostal church wash.
How do I get a price on something tall?
Text a photo of the building to 276-235-1442, taken from far enough back to show how high it goes. That is usually all it takes to put a number on it.
